If you smoke or have failed at quitting…

Get off of that toilet upon which you are sitting!

Have faith in yourself as it's only fitting.

Be part of the Great American Smokeout!

 

If you smoke because it puts you at ease…

You're gambling with your life and risking lung disease.

You want to breathe easy, not cough and choke and wheeze.

So be part of the Great American Smokeout!

 

If you smoke to make up for something you lack…

You increase your chance of a heart attack.

Your skin will wrinkle and your lungs will turn black.

So be part of the Great American Smokeout!

 

If you smoke to keep from wearing a frown…

Your smile will yellow and your breath knock others down.

How happy can you be when people don't stick around?

Be part of the Great American Smokeout!

 

November 17th is the date that is owed…

To all who get into a nonsmoking mode.

Flush all your cigarettes down the commode!
